"Though we at times feel the slither of deaths grasp in our hearts and in our minds, ALONE does not want to die a self afflicting death, nor support any actions or thoughts in you doing so. We would like you to know that we write these songs in solidarity with others that feel the pain and discomfort of modern life, the ills of capitalism, and the burden of society that bring up the question of living. These pains and realizations need to be displayed in art, they need to be a part of this communication of feelings that we call art because this is how we truly see inside one another. This is how we know that we are not alone. This is how we make pain our salvation to throw us forth to continue living."

While not quite at the same level as their newest release The Purple Skull, this album is very solid in its own right. They are the best Italian doom band in my opinion, and that is saying something at the present time. Mike Henson
Featuring members of Noothgrush, Graves at Sea, and more, the Oakland metal band juxtapose cavernous doom with spaced-out shoegaze. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 21, 2024
